Sips of Inspiration

I am so excited to finally be sharing a project I’ve been working on for a while. First in the dreaming stage, more recently in the DOing stage.

And today with an official announcement.

Sips of Inspiration is a new video interview series I’m hosting. (If you’ve been watching my YouTube videos you might have gotten some hints that it was coming).

I loved interviewing artists for two series on my old blog (Artist Interviews and Sketchbook Conversations) for so many reasons. For the connections I made with other artists. For the inspiration I was able to share with my readers. For the connections forged between kindred spirits.

Over the years I have been so inspired by other artists. When I was only dreaming of making art, one of the things that helped me take the first steps was hearing the stories of other artists who had done the same thing.

We can learn so much from one another and I am so grateful for all the generous souls sharing their stories, showing up for their creativity and encouraging others to move forward with their dreams.

I created a quick video to announce the series. In two weeks I’ll be airing the first interview.

This is very much a work in progress and I invite you to come along for the ride. Ask questions. Share your story. And never give up on the idea of trying something new.
