Dandelions Watercolor Botanical Print

Dandelions Watercolor Botanical Print
This archival art print reproduces one of three dandelion studies from my spring collection The original watercolor painting is one of three dandelion studies from my spring collection (see the 9th photo for the whole series which is also available as a set).
Dandelions might be one of the most overlooked spring flowers. To some they’re a scourge to be eradicated. To others their appearance brings a smile. They’re edible. Medicinal. And they provide food for bees. Although I don’t welcome them in my garden beds, I’m happy to give them a place in the grass beside the wild violets and clover.
It was such a joy to study the plant and depict it with paint. Its cheerful colors and detailed depiction are sure to bring you joy, too.
The prints measure 4 inches by 6 inches, 5 inches by 7 inches or 8 inches by 10 inches.
I take great care with the whole print-making process, from scanning the image to resizing it to checking the colors and printing test prints, it's a long process that yields a beautiful result. The velvet fine art paper is textured and matte made from 100% cotton fibers. The texture is somewhere between that of cold pressed and hot pressed watercolor paper, a little less tooth than the former and a little more tooth than the latter. It reproduces my paintings beautifully.
Print is signed with my initials.
