This archival fine art print reproduces my original painting of a pink flowered orchid plant in a clay pot.

This painting was inspired by one of the many orchids growing in my studio and even if you don't grow your own joy, this painting can give you a connection to the natural world. It will keep blooming and blooming long after the flowers on a living plant have faded.

I take great care with the whole print-making process, from scanning the image to resizing it to checking the colors and printing test prints, it's a long process that yields a beautiful result. The watercolor paper I use is textured and matte made from 100% cotton fibers. The texture is somewhere between that of cold pressed and hot pressed watercolor paper, a little less tooth than the former and a little more tooth than the latter. It reproduces my paintings beautifully.

The prints measure 4 inches by 6 inches, 5 inches by 7 inches or 8 inches by 10 inches and are ready to be framed.
