This archival watercolor print reproduces my original watercolor painting of a wreath of golden, autumn-hued ginkgo leaves.

In the autumn I can never resist picking up colorful leaves when I'm out on my walks. Ginkgo leaves are especially beautiful to me with their bright yellow color and their deceptively simple shape. Once you start looking you see that there's so much variation in shape and color that's not apparent at first glance.

For this painting I created a wreath of ginkgo leaves that appear to be dancing around the ring. I've captured the variation in color and shape with my watercolors, giving each leaf its own personality. The print reproduces the painting beautifully.

I take great care with the whole print-making process, from scanning the image to resizing it to checking the colors and printing test prints, it's a long process that yields a beautiful result. The velvet fine art paper is textured and matte made from 100% cotton fibers. The texture is somewhere between that of cold pressed and hot pressed watercolor paper, a little less tooth than the former and a little more tooth than the latter. It reproduces my paintings beautifully.

Print measures 8 inches by 10 inches and because of the shape and size of the image it would also look lovely in an 8 inch by 8 inch square frame.

Print is signed with my initials.
