This archival art print of four stems of colorful iris flowers is a giclee reproduction of my original watercolor painting.

Iris are dramatic flowers in the garden. They seem so solid and yet, the flowers are crepe paper delicate and fleeting. You need to slow down and pay attention, or you'll miss them.

The original watercolor painting this print was reproduced from depicts four stems of iris flowers in four different colors. There's a purple flower with one fat bud, an orange flower with a slightly open bud, a yellow and white flower and a blue flower with two nearly open buds.

This painting captures the flowers' beauties but also the reminder they whisper to us: slow down; pay attention; notice life's little beauties and joys.

I take great care with the whole print-making process, from scanning the image to resizing it to checking the colors and printing test prints, it's a long process that yields a beautiful result. The velvet fine art paper is textured and matte made from 100% cotton fibers. The texture is somewhere between that of cold pressed and hot pressed watercolor paper, a little less tooth than the former and a little more tooth than the latter. It reproduces my paintings beautifully.

The prints measure 4 inches by 6 inches, 5 inches by 7 inches or 8 inches by 10 inches.


Print is signed with my initials.
